Galbally 5mile and 5km 25
Galblly 5 Mile and 5K – Sunday 20th July 2025 @ 11am.
The Galbally 5 Mile and 5K events, based in the heart of Tyrone, Is one of the highlights in the road racing calendar with over 500 participants and growing year on year.
The run begins and ends at Galbally Community Centre, where runners and walkers are treated to some of the famous hospitality and live entertainment that this event has become renowned for.
Both courses have rolling hills which means some climbs mixed with some extremely fast downhill sections.
There is also excellent prize money across genders, Age groups and bonus for the course records, with a total prize fund of £1500+.
The current holders of the 5 Mile course records are;

The event also attracts a large number of families and walkers, creating a carnival atmosphere at the finish line where pizza and beers await!
Event details & schedule
· Both 5 Mile and 5K Race are chipped and timed.
· The 5 mile race will start at 11.00am and the 5K will start at 11.05am on Sunday 20thJuly at Galbally Community Centre (36 Lurgylea Rd, Galbally, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, BT70 2NX).
· The first 150 entries will receive a signature running vest
· Limited number of late registrations may be available on the morning.
· Water stations on the route.
· Support crews will be on the route to cheer you along.
· Hot showers available after the event.

Keash King Of the Hill 25
King of the Hill is back for 2025 and kick starts the annual Garland Sunday festivites in Keash on the last weekend in July.
Taking in the stunning Caves of Keash and showcasing its surrounding magnificant screnry this run is on road and offers some challenging uphills with breathtaking views on the declines. An excellent training run for the Warriors Run. Both routes are a loop course that starts at Eastern Harps GAA grounds and finishes at the White Hall, Keash where post race refreshments will be served.
This year we are raising funds for Keash/Culfadda/Gurteen Community First Responders & Defibrillator Group who offer an invaluable service to the community.

Garrafrauns to Dunmore 6km 25
The Overall Male and Female Winners are presented with the James Murphy Cup’s. James Murphy 1880 – 1962 is originally from Lissyconnor, Dunmore. James Murphy was a champion runner who won several races in Ireland & the UK including the Irish & UK National Titles In 1908 he was a finalist in the Olympic games in London.

Run for Oisin 2025
The Oisín McGrath Foundation has been formed in memory of 13 year old Oisín McGrath from Belcoo, who lost his life tragically in February 2015. The Foundation is inspired by Oisín’s life and formed both to keep his spirit alive and to inspire others through his memory. The three strands of the foundation are:
Organ Donation Awareness
Brain Injury Research and Awareness
Local Youth Sports Development
The Oisín McGrath Foundation is administered by the Fermanagh Trust, County Fermanagh’s community foundation.
This is the 9th Run for Oisín and we hope you will come along to support. Let's get out there in August and walk, jog or run for Oisín.

North West Coastal Challenge – Back for Year Two!
Donegal’s premier adventure race returns, bringing even more thrills, endurance, and breathtaking views. Taking place in the seaside village of Dunfanaghy and its surrounding areas, the challenge features three race waves:
🏅 Elite – 9:30 AM
🚴♂️ Intermediate – 9:35 AM
🏃♀️ Beginner – 9:40 AM
Competitors will push their limits across an unforgettable route:
- 5.5km Trail Run to the stunning Tramore Beach & back
- 28.5km Cycle Loop with Muckish Mountain and Sheephaven Bay as your backdrop
- Mid-cycle Break: A 1km Run followed by a 1km Kayak Lap on the beautiful Purt Lake
This year competitors have the option to enter the race as a team of 2. Team member 1 must complete the 5.5km trail run. Team member 2 must complete the cycle loop and the kayak leg including the run to and from the kayak.

Tarmonbarry 3/4 Marathon , 1/2 Marathon and 8km
Our event sells out online every year, and well in advance of the race day., All entries online only. Don't delay in booking your place for this fantastic event which is perfectly timed to fit in with your training for Dublin City Marathon.
