Dunmore Festival Committee are proud to host the annual Garrafrauns to Dunmore 6km

The Race takes place at 2pm (1400) on Bank Holiday Monday 5th of August 2024

On the race day there is normally

Last minute Registration from 11:30 to 13:30 in the community Centre in Garrafrauns

Shuttlebus for runners leaves Dunmore for Garrafrauns from 12:30pm

Warm up in Garrafrauns with a PT at 1330 for race participants

Race Starts 2pm

The Overall Male and Female Winners are presented with the James Murphy Cup’s. James Murphy 1880 – 1962 is originally from Lissyconnor, Dunmore. James Murphy was a champion runner who won several races in Ireland & the UK including the Irish & UK National Titles In 1908 he was a finalist in the Olympic games in London.
