The event commences in Strandhill Village near Sligo Rugby Club and finishes on the prom in Rosses Point Village (this route is accurately measured and is open to all. The course is flat with very little in the way of an incline so suits all abilities.

This unique road race is a Point to Point event encapsulating some of the most beautiful sights along the Wild Atlantic Way coastline.
Building on the success of previous years we guarantee all participants a fantastic route with Chip timing and a technical T-shirt for the first 400 entrants registered - Get signed up early to avoid disappointment.
This run is becoming one of Ireland’s most successful and fastest-growing 10-mile road races. You will enjoy a very scenic route, mainly flat, perfect for those seeking a P.B. There will be fantastic encouragement from spectators and our dedicated team of marshals’ who will provide support along the course.
Come join us and experience a true Sligo welcome from Sligo Athletic Club. There will be light refreshments provided after the race.

Saturday afternoon: 21.9.2024 – 4 pm-7 pm
Sunday morning: 22.9.2024 – 8.30am – 10am
Bus transfers: there will be a limited number of bus seats available (free) to take participants from Rosses Point to The Rugby club in Strandhill on the morning of 22.9.2024 between 8am- 9.30am so car-pooling is encouraged where possible.
Bus Eireann provide a frequent service between Rosses Point and Strandhill – commencing on the hour, every hour from 11.05 through to 19.05 so you could enjoy lunch in Rosses Point after the event. The bus will stop in Rosses Point when flagged down in a safe area.
